Do Not Sell or Share My Information

Residents of some US states have the right to direct a business not to sell or share their personal information. This page explains what we do and how to opt out.

What we actually do

We pass your details to independent contractors so they can quote your project, which is the whole purpose of the service you asked for. Under some state privacy laws that transfer may count as a sale or a share.

How to opt out

Email privacy@homequotedesk.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share” and include the telephone number and email address you gave us, so we can find your record.

We will action the request and confirm when it is done, within the time your state law requires. You do not need to give a reason and we will not charge you or degrade the service because you asked.

What opting out means in practice

If you opt out we will stop passing your details to contractors. That means we can no longer introduce you to anyone, so we will not be able to get you quotes. If that is not what you want, you can instead ask us simply to stop contacting you, or to delete your information entirely.

Authorized agents

You can have someone submit a request for you. We will ask for reasonable proof that you authorized them before we act on it.
